Omara
Brand identity, photography, and film for a luxury underwater spa and villa resort.
Omara is a luxury hospitality development centred on an underwater spa, a diving centre, and a collection of private villas. The architecture existed; the brand did not. HoopAI was commissioned to invent the visual language from the ground up: mark, palette, photography, and film.
The brief had no precedent: how do you communicate an environment that operates equally above and below the water? The answer was to treat the underwater world not as a selling point to be explained, but as the primary aesthetic fact from which every decision followed.
The colour system was drawn directly from the site: the blue-greens of shallow reef water, bleached limestone, the deep indigo of open depths. Typography was kept deliberately restrained, a neutral container for imagery that carries the weight. The resulting mark reads as luxury through precision, not ornament.
Photography and film were conceived as immersive documentation: the way light refracts through saltwater, the silence architecture takes on when the medium around it changes. The complete output, brand mark, colour system, photography library, and film, forms a unified visual estate that travels across every point of contact.
A place where the boundary between guest and the natural world has been deliberately dissolved.
