Michelin × Diriyah
Setting the table for a kingdom's culinary coming-of-age inside the walls of Diriyah.
When Diriyah invited the world's Michelin-starred chefs to cook inside its mud-brick walls, the challenge wasn't logistics. It was meaning. HoopAI conceived the full visual and experiential framework for the activation, building a creative language that could carry both the weight of Ad Diriyah's history and the scale of Saudi Arabia's culinary ambition.
Every element was directed to a single idea: craft and culture in genuine conversation. Not a backdrop, not a stage set, but a living encounter between the world's best kitchens and the site that shaped a civilization.
The ancient oasis was never a backdrop — it was a co-subject, as present in every frame as the hands working in front of it.
Photography was built around tactile intimacy: hands at work, plating in golden-hour light, the choreography of service against ochre heritage stone. Portrait sessions with each participating chef were lit to balance individual personality against the unified grandeur of the Diriyah setting.
Social content ran in parallel: portrait-format editorial imagery produced for digital audiences who read place as fluently as they read food, pairing chef charisma with an unmistakable sense of where they stood.
Each portrait was calibrated to the same tension: individual culinary personality, unmistakable but never louder than where they stood.
"Where Michelin-starred craft meets the living heritage of Diriyah: an event that made the kingdom's culinary ambition tangible."
